When I was asked to write this introduction for Roy Masters, I said it was going to be the easiest assignment I had ever had. Then I stopped suddenly, put my head in my hands and thought, how do I explain to anyone that even though he is my father, and I am his only daughter, he has been the greatest teacher I have ever known, and how do I share the respect and absolute love that I have for him? How do I share with others that if my dad was not who he is, then I would have been just like so many others who have been confused by authority, bad parents and cruelty that dwells in every corner of the universe? I would have not found my own path in life because wickedness has an almost perfect design to keep us wondering who’s in charge, but because he did not let me doubt myself, I have no doubt, especially on this!
